Bede's Bakehose

This popular cafe at St. Peter's, Monkwearmouth, now in its second summer season, offers a range of popular snacks and meals, from homemade cakes, scones and coffee, to quiches, paninis, filled jacket potatoes and salads, hot and cold puddings, and a hot special dish of the day.

The cafe is open every day of the week, except Monday; on Tuesday to Friday 10.30am -2.30pm; on Saturdays from  10.30 to 3.30 pm,;on Sundays from 12.30pm for a roast Sunday lunch (booking necessary on Sundays).

At times group or party bookings can be managed. For further initial enquiries, please contact the Parish Office 0191 5160135 between 9am and 1pm Monday to Friday
