Parish of Monkwearmouth Publications

A range of publications has been produced in Monkwearmouth Parish.

Saints' Suppers A well-received attractive spiral-bound cookbook, published in 2004, is still available in lvery imited numbers at Bede's Bakehouse at St. Peter's Church at £6.50.

Building Bridges A book of Calligraphy inspired by the Wearmouth-Jarrow site, with a collection ofshort articles, and photographs and drawings, was published jointly by the Parish of Monkwearmouth and the Northumbrian Scribes in 2006, ISBN 1 873757 06 9, and is available from St. Peter's Church at £8.50while stocks last.

Tapestry of Tales: 100 Years of St. Andrew's, Church, Roker is a collection of local memories compiled by Joan Cook and Val Hughes. It was published in 2006 for the Centenary Year, and is available from St. Andrew' Church or the Parish Office at £5.
